IF you haven’t heard, I live in Georgia now!!!

(reference my last blog if you have no idea why I am here or what I am doing)

I am all moved into my new house – a literal dream of a cabin in the woods. Things are changing and moving already. Much like physical parts of my life which I packed up in my trunk and drove across the country, the Lord has been kind enough to have given me a sweet sweet attachment to my new room and home and roomies.

In coming here, I feel that I have locked eyes with the person of Jesus and now he is beginning to reveal why. Similarly to the race, I can’t pinpoint right now the WHY to end all why’s but I know that Jesus wants me here – and what else can I hold up to navigate my life with? Big picture things like discipleship and community and building on the foundation the Lord has helped me lay so far are broad things to convey. The dreams the Lord has put in me to cultivate need to be challenged and pruned and nurtured as I take steps to pursue them – and this is the place to be for that.

If you have been thinking about supporting me on this journey or already have, that is really what I have to give you. Outside of big picture, I know that the same yes the Lord asked of me for the race is the same one he asked of me for CGA. The fruit and revelation from that yes is such testimony to continue to trust him with this as well. Thank you so so so much for all the love and support thus far, it is through the church supporting one another that I have seen obedience met with progress for the kingdom of God.

Feel free to reach out for a call or text me 🙂 I would love to have an in person update where I can share more in depth !!!

Here are my two roomies Cassi and Maggie !!! We also share our home with 12 other girls 🙂

Here is one of my favorite picture from our back porch this morning as the sun burned off the fog and haze !!!

This is the update that I am officially here!! I wanted to leave you with a poem that has been on my heart. It is challenging and full of wonder and love.

Disturb us, Lord, when
We are too well pleased with ourselves,
When our dreams have come true
Because we have dreamed too little,
When we arrived safely
Because we sailed too close to the shore.

Disturb us, Lord, when
With the abundance of things we possess
We have lost our thirst
For the waters of life;
Having fallen in love with life,
We have ceased to dream of eternity
And in our efforts to build a new earth,
We have allowed our vision
Of the new Heaven to dim.

Disturb us, Lord, to dare more boldly,
To venture on wider seas
Where storms will show your mastery;
Where losing sight of land,
We shall find the stars.

We ask You to push back
The horizons of our hopes;
And to push into the future
In strength, courage, hope, and love.
