Man oh man !!! I love exciting news! Don't you?

If it's one thing this year has taught me over and over, it's that life with Jesus is not linear or sensical. Maybe that's why we are compared to the wind in the Bible haha.

I have heard the life of a believer described as this: the simple action of one step in and one step up. One step towards the Lord and one step towards his people (that's all people). Further in and further up!!! And as I have said yes to doing my best to seek that in my life, I have a rather unexpected and exciting announcement!

Starting in mid January (yes in a month) I will moving to Gainesville, Georgia to attend Center for Global Action (or CGA!!)

eeeeeeek!!!! Both you and me were surprised! But as often with the Lord he is so so kind and eager to invite you and me into things to grow and prepare us as we journey together!!! The process of this specific "yes" was a tender nudge from Him and I am overjoyed that I get to step into this very special time so so soon !

So, what is it?

In short, CGA is a 6-month discipleship and leadership training program run by Adventures in Missions that equips followers of Christ to recreate biblical community through teachings, scripture, and activation. CGA helps set the groundwork ministry and life moving forward. Put plainly by leadership at CGA, the focus is to learn to lead yourself well in order to learn to lead others the same. You can take this and step into whatever gifting, passion, or dream God has given!!! This program is taking what I learned on the race and refining it to be used in whatever setting - ministry, work, or school!!!

I will be living in community housing with other world race alumni (yay!) and working a part-time job !!! All apprentices are expected to work among the community to apply the things taught and walk out, “life is ministry, ministry is life.”

In the words of a dear friend, we will learn how to be the Church without walls, amidst a pandemic.

I am very very excited and thankful for this new adventure!! My number one goal with keeping you in the loop is that as you follow along this journey that you will encounter the Lord and we all will be, as the Church, growing and learning together.

I am sending out support letters to provide a more in depth on this past season and CGA. Let me know if you would like one. Also I would love to chat on the phone with you if you want to hear more !

much love and merry Christmas!!!
